At Witteveen Architecten we design with the conviction that true architecture is timeless: rooted in knowledge of building, enriched by craftsmanship and refined through detail. The office was founded by George Witteveen and is continued together with his son Max, united by respect for materials, construction and the act of making.

 

Every project is bespoke. Each design begins with close collaboration between clients, engineers and craftsmen. From the first idea to the final delivery we remain engaged in every step, ensuring that detail and whole are inseparable. Our approach unites aesthetics and performance: energy efficiency and sustainable principles, including passive building, are not added afterwards but embedded from the start. Buildings must be elegant and refined, but also environmentally responsible and prepared for the future. Designs that stand the test of time and continue to reveal their character through use, atmosphere, and detail.
